My dear friend Michael (the artist also known as Newberry) is hosting an open studio event this weekend to showcase his magnificent works on canvas, so I have volunteered to rustle up some tasty treats for the occasion. I figured it was easier than anything involving nude modeling.
My thoughts lean toward our little savory bites, as they are a perfect “pop it in the mouth” treat — no mess, no fuss. Of course, I’m not sure how many of them I’ll end up making; something tells me I’m going to be in the kitchen for a while.
I wonder if I can wrangle a painting out of him for this. Not likely, as his work is becoming so recognized that I would need to make at least 3 trillion savory bites; and that won’t even get me close to owning Denouement, my favorite.
