This week I traveled to Springfield, Illinois to take the instructor exam to teach sanitation. I thought this would be a good opportunity to talk about food safety and what our government is doing about it. I have a piece of audio from Senator Tom Harkin talking about food safety in the United States. We should all pay more attention to our food safety to reduce the incidence of food borne illness.
