16 Mar James Beard Award Nominees
This is one of my favorite times of year, as I’m able to see some of my favorite people shine as the creme de la creme of the American food world is announced. There are several people of particular note this year, some of whom have appeared on our pages, and others who have been an inspiration to me throughout the years. To all of them — and to all the deserved nominees — we offer our sincere congratulations.
First, a very special congratulations to Culinary Podcast Network member Don Genova of All You Can Eat, among the nominees for the category of web casting (that would be podcasting in our language), and to the gang at Leite’s Culinaria, nominated in the new category of best web site.
We are delighted that web media is finally getting its due, and the above nominees are shining examples of independent spirit.
