I wonder if Steve Wasser gets the same questions we did when we were Gastronomic Meditations. For him, I’m fairly certain the inquiries are even more interesting.
Gastrologica, Wasser’s online magazine and podcast, is one of the most refreshingly irreverent collection of food musings I’ve seen in a while — without being contrived or “trendily” irreverent. He simply is who he is. On his home page, he proudly states: I’m Steve Wasser, and I am not a foodie. I’m a gourmand. He had me at “gourmand.”
Naturally, we welcomed him into our collection of brethren at the Culinary Podcast Network, as our family just wouldn’t be the same otherwise. (Did I mention the yummy voice?)
Look for Steve on our pages in April, as we’ve invited him into the Gilded Fork house. We have the strangest feeling he’s going to be the hyper kid duct-taped to a chair somewhere in the attic, but we’ve prepared for that.
