21 Apr Gardening Tips for Red Thumbs
I’m not sure what color to call that thumb exactly, but it is meant to be the opposite of red — as in “garden killer.” As I mentioned in my last post, I am a mortal enemy to anything planted, so in order to keep my soon-arriving kitchen garden alive, I look to Papa Geno as the great arbiter of garden wisdom. Thankfully he’s started a blog on the topic with tons of tips for those of us in dire need of help, so I may just keep said little herbs thriving after all.
Worst case scenario, I will call Mother, who has the ability to grow an entire tree from a half-dead weed. Must be a Scottish thing. Either that or she’s a secret Hobbitt.
I have the planter boxes ready, so if the culinary and garden gods cooperate it could be a tasty Spring after all.
