Yes, I’m talking about honey; that sweet, supple, gorgeous golden liquid that makes child’s play out of our favorite foods. This month we are exploring the decadent properties of this elixir of the gods, as well as its uses in both sweet and savory recipes, from an aromatic glaze for pork to the comforting Chai tea my throat needed a few days ago. Later in the month it will be matched with mascarpone, a cheese we could not resist as a perfect pairing for our deliciously sticky elixir.
