19 Feb A Seduction of the Senses
We are finally leaving the kitchen. Yes, it’s time for us to cast aside these whisks and tongs for a spell and meet with our readers face-to-face.
The Gilded Fork crew has created a series of cooking classes and tasting dinners that will travel around the country, so stay tuned for our updates. We have designed them for in-home experiences as well, so if you’d like us to invade your kitchen, we’d be happy to oblige. More details will be released in next week’s update; or maybe sooner if we can’t stand the wait.
In the interim, I am giddy to announce our first tasting event, A Seduction of the Senses, which will kick off in the Hudson Valley at my favorite local restaurant, Park Place.
Six courses, wines, and Chef Mark in the kitchen. What will I be doing? I’ll be in the dining room, naturally — but I won’t just be sitting on my duff. As Mark prepares the feast, I will introduce the flavor profiles to come in each course, and describe the effects each will have on the palate and senses, as well as our inspiration for each recipe. Come and swoon with us.
