If you follow her on twitter (userealbutter), I guarantee she’ll bring a smile to your face. She just finished participating in, and blogging about, Eat on $30 (a week) in which she provided a lot of insight into the problems of hunger and poverty. And she is an absolutely phenomenal cook and photographer.

Like Sean, I think that Ree from Pioneer Woman: http://thepioneerwoman.com/ has a wonderful blog. Not only does she blog about food, but life on her ranch, homeschooling four kids, Ethel Merman impersonations and everything in between.

I’ll stick w/ the food theme. Ree from Pioneer Woman has had the biggest and most influential effect from what I’ve witnessed personally. A lot of my friends around campus who had zero interest in cooking really got into it after discovering Ree’s site. She makes it look easy and the step-by-step photo/instructions helped my friends get inspired.

She’s like a suped up version of Sandra Lee but there’s actual cooking and onion chopping involved.

Hmm, I think some of the smartest content on the web is being done by Marc Pelletier on Futures in Biotech. Now, I must admit that I have been a co host a couple of times with Marc, but I was pretty impressed with Marc well before that. The show is smart, and does not ever dumb the science down.

Now, if you want someone whose show I have not been on, i would have to say Tom Merritt of East Meets West, Fourcast and a little show called Buzz Out Loud on CNet. Smart, funny, and almost always right. That is how I describe Tom.
