Teresa learned most things she knows about cooking not from her mother, but from none other than Rachael Ray. While Teresa waited for her shift as a Barista to start at a popular San Francisco bistro, she would study Ray’s knife skills and lack of measuring techniques, quickly picked up all she needed to learn, and soon realized that a career in the food business was something she wanted to strive for.

Now a passionate food writer by night (she does that marketing thing by day), Teresa spends most of her time perfecting her sought-after mac n’ cheese recipe, thinking about ways to incorporate cilantro into every dish she makes, and not fretting too much over the fact that she has yet to make homemade bread that actually rises. Twitter brought her to the Gilded Fork team, and she is excited to combine her enthusiasm for social media with her love of all things culinary, as well as take our newsletters to the next level with compelling insider info from the test kitchen.
